Plaintiff's Litigation Paralegal The candidate will format legal documents including complaints, subpoenas, pleadings, discovery/disclosure requests and responses, affidavits, conservatorship and probate forms, pre-trial and trial materials, etc. Will prepare letters of representation, request, obtain, review, organize, Bates, redact and summarize medical records and medical bills for attorney review and case preparation. Assist in scheduling depositions, court reporters, expert witness conferences, and all case related events including hearings, meetings, mediations, trials. Organize client documents and case documents in hard file and digital server file. Prepare attorney binders for depositions, hearings, mediations, oral arguments. Communicate with client, insurance adjusters, medical records personnel, opposing counsel, expert witnesses, court personnel, court reporters. Maintain accurate case calendar. Court filing preparation, e-filing and document distribution. Assist with all aspects of pretrial and trial work.
The candidate must have 2+ years of legal experience. Must be self-starter with effective written and verbal communication skills. Requires proficiency in MS Outlook and Word. Working knowledge of AZ Turbo Court essential. Knowledge of LexisNexis, practice management software, and Adobe Acrobat Pro or DC plus. Notary Public desired. Spanish Speaker preferred.
