Real Estate Paralegal The candidate will be drafting real estate documents, including deeds, easements, assignments, and financing statements; Preparing lease abstracts; Reviewing title, survey and plats and preparing title memos and objection letters; Ordering, reviewing and summarizing UCC and litigation searches and zoning reports; Creating and monitoring transaction timelines and checklists; Preparation of closing checklists from purchase and sale agreements or loan agreements, Keeping multiple transactions on schedule for closing, Creating entities and filing entity documents; and Establishing homeowner's and condominium associations. Bachelor's Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate or equivalent work experience At least 3 years of real estate, real estate lending, title and survey review, contract review, and general transactional experience, Superior technical skills: be able to prepare documents in Microsoft Word including editing and redlines, working with Styles and working knowledge of Excel, Illustrates excellent client-relationship skills; strong verbal and written communication abilities, proofreading, grammar, and organizational skills, Ability to complete assigned tasks with attention to detail; work with teams and under pressure; and meet deadlines, Experience working in a large corporate setting or law firm preferred.
