Junior Litigation Attorney The candidate will work with senior litigation attorney on all phases of litigation (including court conferences, depositions, motions, discovery and investigation, mediation, and trial preparations). Independently manage a litigation caseload. Draft motions, pleadings, Summons and Complaints, discovery requests, briefs, and client communications. Represent clients in court with hearings and depositions (Matrimonial, Real Estate, Personal Injury, and Immigration). Assist with trial preparation. Communicate with clients and provide status reports. Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis) required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed. Able to work independently while handling multiple files required. Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required. 3 years of litigation experience required. Should excel in a team setting and have a desire for significant responsibilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to self-direct required. Strong academic credentials required. Admission to the New York bar is required.
