Patent Attorney or Patent Agent The candidate must have 3 years of experience and a background in biotechnology or organic chemistry for our Washington DC, Boston MA, Indianapolis IN, Ann Arbor MI, Salt Lake City UT, Raleigh NC, or Atlanta GA office. Responsibilities for this position will include evaluating invention disclosures, drafting and prosecuting patent applications, and conducting freedom to operate analyses in the areas of small molecule pharmaceuticals and/or biotechnology for clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Candidates should be registered to practice with the USPTO and have an advanced degree (PhD preferred) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Organic Chemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Biology, or a related field, a strong academic record, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
