Litigation Paralegal The candidates must have either a Bachelor's Degree and/or a paralegal certificate from an ABA approved paralegal program with one to four years of experience in defense litigation. Candidates should possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication (oral and written) skills. All candidates should have an aptitude for detail, the ability to work efficiently, the ability to work under pressure with or without direct supervision, and the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time. Knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures, proficiency in paper and e-filing (state and federal), knowledge of court websites, and research skills are preferred. The successful candidate will have experience performing the following tasks: Assisting trial counsel in all areas of client representation including drafting correspondence and pleadings; preparing discovery and discovery response; requesting and summarizing medical records; preparing for depositions, mediation, arbitration, trial; and document management. Candidates must be flexible, have regular attendance and be willing to work overtime if necessary. Must provide minimum authorization to work in the United States.
