Title : Real Estate Senior Paralegal

Real Estate Senior Paralegal Duties: The candidate prepares correspondence between parties, such as the client and title companies, lenders, surveyors, appraisers, etc. Prepares/Assists with comprehensive and detailed title and survey objections and resolution of title issues. Generates and reviews closing documents, including settlement statements. Assists with status reports and lease abstracts. Maintains electronic and hard copy matter files per firm procedures. Consistent follow-through and ability to balance priorities while meeting deadlines. Assists with and/or attends client meetings as assigned. Substantial client contact. Qualifications: The candidate should have 5 years of paralegal experience in Commercial Real Estate and a High School Diploma. An undergraduate or Associate degree is a plus. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience reviewing land titles and surveys is required. Substantial experience with commercial leasing and purchase and sale documentation preferred. Must have a paralegal certificate or complete a paralegal certification within a designated period of time. Must have superior proofreading skills and be able to coordinate the execution of commercial contracts and leases, with attorney oversight. Must type at least 65 WPM and have exceptional computer skills and proficiency using Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Software. Experience working with various practice and matter management databases (iManage) and timekeeping and billing systems. Must possess excellent English communication skills with the ability to speak and write clearly. Exceptional communication, customer service, organizational, time management, and detail-oriented skills are required.
