Paralegal - Trusts & Estates The candidate will be responsible for overseeing title transfers of property and monitoring estates and trusts; will assist in the preparation of legal and estate planning and related documents, as well as the administration of the decedent's estates and trusts; will be primarily responsible for administering and maintaining multiple client trusts including the distribution of trust funds upon request, keeping accurate and concise records of how funds were obtained and distributed, and verifying the accuracy of the trusts' balances. Prepare probate court documents such as petitions, orders, promissory notes, accountings, and reports. Draft wills and codicils and prepare for the execution of documents. Work requires extensive contact with clients, banks, government agencies, etc. both verbal and written. The candidate should have Bachelor's degree and/or a paralegal certificate; 3 years of experience as a paralegal in estate planning and/or trust administration; excellent math skills; good organization, proofreading, file management; detail-oriented and good written and oral communication skills; experience with preparing estate and gift tax returns and PowerPoint flowcharts.
