Contract Litigation Attorney - Part Time Candidate will assist principal attorney with all aspects of the practice. Will be: Drafting and responding to discovery requests, legal research and writing, court appearances, document review, drafting pleadings, as well as administrative/paralegal tasks. Precise and clear written and oral communication; Litigation drafting, including drafting discovery demands and responses, deficiency letters, motion briefing; Document management; Legal research on Westlaw. Qualifications: 3+ years' experience with business and employment litigation. Preference given to those with demonstrated interested in business and employment litigation, and who are interested in a small firm environment. Must be a self-starter, and open to the vicissitudes of a small law office, i.e., this is not a large firm with lots of resources -- e.g., will be making trips to the post office, and preparing/bluebacking hard copies of documents for filing in court. But with demonstrated ability, more responsibility will be delegated, including court appearances. Schedule: 20/hours per week
