Senior Immigration Paralegal The candidate will assist attorneys with employment-based immigration cases. Conduct legal research and gather relevant information from various governmental agencies and AILA sites. Start and manage assigned cases with limited supervision. Review Visa Bulletin, Processing Time, Case Status, visa expiration dates and other timelines for clients. Communicate with clients as needed. Docket and maintain information on LawLogix. May perform other duties not listed above. Should have Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate. Should have 3-4 years of relevant employment-based immigration law experience, particularly with the PERM process; self-starter, strong writing skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with competing demands. Deep understanding of employment-based immigration processes. Should be proven analytical ability, highly professional demeanor, and work ethic; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong project management skills. Large law firm experience; general Labor and Employment experience is a bonus. LawLogix or comparable immigration law software experience; strong research skills.
