Immigration Paralegal Duties: Utilize web-based immigration case management system and database. Coordinate and communicate with clients securing case documentation. Assess and review the client's documents and information provided, to analyze and issue spot to alert the attorneys so the team can address case strategies preemptively. Prepare immigration petitions adhering to our internal timelines, checklists, and procedures. Ensure that all written and oral communications with clients reflect our service-centered delivery of legal services. Update clients on case progress. Conduct research on immigration law and procedures. Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor while working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls and assist with setting appointments, and receiving and managing client payments. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Detail-oriented, extremely organized, and good attitude. Experience working with people of culturally diverse backgrounds and of diverse economic culture. Customer service experience. Ability to withhold and keep confidential information. Must be fluent (speaking, writing, reading, listening) in English. Fluency (speaking, writing, reading, listening) in Spanish. No legal experience is required. Pay is commensurate to the applicant's experience.
