Title : Litigation Paralegal

Litigation Paralegal Duties: Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, legal memoranda. E-file all court documents in state and federal court. Prepare discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses. Draft and server summons. Coordinate and summarize depositions. Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents and filing them with the court. Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes. Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices. Aid attorney with interrogatories and other discovery requests. Liaise between trial teams and internal/external third parties. Help with case settlements. Qualifications: Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience or completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program. 3+ years of working experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting. Experience in Personal Injury, WC, Premises, or other injury-related practice areas. Must possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, handle a fast-paced environment, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision. Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures, practices, etc. Extensive computer and database expertise, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and type 35+ wpm.
