Immigration Attorney The candidate must have 2+ years of recent experience in a law firm (high volume, immigration experience). Immigration court experience is required. Should be experienced in family based immigration law. Understanding and the ability to apply knowledge in the following areas is required: asylum, adjustment of status, deportation defense, waivers, U Visa, VAWA. Should have experience in a high volume legal practice and have handled large caseloads, have a significant amount of courtroom experience or be highly skilled at drafting for immigration. Must be a member of the Illinois Bar. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.
