Immigration Paralegal Candidate will work in immigration law practice. Will have regular contact with the managing attorney. Will be interacting with the managing attorney and sharing input about a case. Must have 1+ year of experience in an immigration law firm. Experience is strongly preferred. Must have a strong passion for helping immigrants. Must: Be bilingual (English/Spanish); Be organized; Provide excellent customer service; Be educated; Be comfortable working independently. Be comfortable working directly with the managing attorney. Be proficient with Mac, PDF Expert, Clio, and GoogleCalendar. Have experience preparing immigration forms (I-589,I-765, EOIR-42B, I-918). Have experience handling asylum, cancellation of removal, and bond cases. Have experience interacting with clients and gathering evidence for their cases. Have an understanding of Immigration Court procedure(filing requirements, proper service, tabbing, etc.). Have an associate's degree or certificate in paralegal studies.
