Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal The candidate primary duties and responsibilities will include: Drafting letters; Filing documents in State Courts (both by electronic submission and mail); Drafting pleadings, discovery (and responses), and related correspondence; Compiling, organizing, redacting, and labeling documents for production (discovery); Docketing and managing deadlines; Communicating with clients; Request and review medical records; Proof reading; and Draft and prepare settlement disbursements. Must have experience in civil litigation, preferably personal injury litigation and workers compensation claims. Should have 2 + years of experience, but must have at least 1 year of experience. Must have ability to multi-task, prioritize, and efficiently handle multiple matters simultaneously for two attorneys. Experience with the following programs is a plus: Adobe Acrobat, CMECF, Dropbox, Odysssey, Pacer, Peach Court, Quickbooks, Case-metrix, FedEx.com, and Stamps.com. Experience with Microsoft Office products is a requirement.
