Construction & Design Litigation Attorney The candidate must have 3 years of experience to join talented team of attorneys. Must have experience in representing developers, general contractors, design professionals, and subcontractors. Trial and/or arbitration experience is always a plus. Must be currently licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado. Must have a strong work ethic and proven case management skills. Excellent communication and analytical skills are required. Exceptional research and writing skills needed. Must have competent computer skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook. Must have Direct experience/interaction with insurance claims representatives, including reporting, case assessment, evaluation, and strategy. Responsibility for handling own files/matters preferred. Must have taking and defending fact and expert depositions. Must have expert engagement and preparation, expert disclosures and reporting. Should have experience with all facets of pre-trial discovery and preparation, motion. Must have experience with large exposure cases, multi-party litigation, complex construction, and design matters. Must have experience with large document production and database matters. First chair mediation experience is required. First chair trial/arbitration experience preferred. Must have construction contract drafting and negotiation and schedule and payment claim experience. Must have marketing and business development interest and experience in drafting publications, articles, or legal presentations preferred.
