Paralegal Duties: Review files, write factual summaries to be included in brief for appeals or reconsiderations, narrowing of issues, and consistent client communications. Answer phones in a professional manner; draft letters and memoranda; follow-up on requests made to doctors around the country and with the Department of Labor's Office of Workers' Compensation Program; process mail (scan and link to appropriate matter in case management system); handle calendaring of Events and Deadlines; simple bookkeeping.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office desired. Experience with TimeMatters and ECF filing in federal court is a plus. PA Notary a plus, if not must become a notary within six months.
