Nurse Paralegal The candidate should have a nursing degree and 3 to 5 years of clinical experience. Prior work experience in a law firm is highly desirable. The candidate must have strong computer skills and a demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and Word, and other database applications and strong internet research skills. Work in collaboration with attorneys for defense of medical-legal cases. Obtain, organize and analyze medical records. Prepare and forward medical records to experts and outside counsel. Prepare reports, medical and billing summaries and correspondence. Conduct medical research and background investigation for parties to litigation and experts.
