Receptionist/Legal Secretary Duties: Provide excellent client service and administrative support on a daily basis. Professionally communicating via multiple platforms with clients, Judicial Assistants, Opposing Counsels, etc. Assisting with basic discovery by redacting Mandatory Discovery, Request to Produce, and other appropriate discovery documents and calendaring response deadlines for same. E-filing pleadings, complaints, etc. Maintaining the Owner and other firm attorneys calendar by planning and scheduling client conferences and teleconferences and by recording/monitoring court appearance dates, pleadings, deadlines, and filing requirements. supporting attorneys, law clerks, and management staff by communicating and obtaining information and following-up on delegated assignments. Managing and maintaining computer and hard filings. Creating, updating, and maintaining client database. Billing for their time Assisting paralegals and attorneys in gathering information and resolving issues with clients. Performing other duties and special projects as requested by the paralegals and/or attorneys, which may involve handling confidential and sensitive material. Qualifications: Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time, work well under pressure, and prioritize tasks by urgency. Ability to structure moderately complex projects efficiently and set/adjust priorities effectively. Ability to use sound judgment and discretion when approaching all responsibilities. Superior attention to detail; Diligence, dependability, and strong work ethic. Superior organizational and interpersonal skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of Clio, Lexicata and/or Floridas E-filing Portal is helpful. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to quickly changing situations.
