Legal Secretary Assistant The candidate will be doing various clerical tasks. Preparing, drafting and formatting legal documents. Filing/e-filing documents with the court. Scheduling and calendaring of court dates and other deadlines. Maintaining the attorneys calendars. Scanning and electronically archiving documents. Must have 2+ years of experience working as a legal secretary. Should have strong interpersonal and verbal skills, be exceptionally organized, able to anticipate and prioritize in order to meet deadlines. Should have excellent computer skills (WordPerfect, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Nuance Power PDF, etc.), strong attention to detail and accuracy, knowledge of and experience with filing/e-filing (State and Federal), working knowledge of court rules and procedures (State and Federal). Familiarity with civil litigation and/or preparation for trial is preferred.
