Senior Insurance Defense Paralegal Candidate will be working cases up to trial and providing hearing and trial support in Commercial, Product liability, Insurance, Employment, and Labor disputes. Assist in development and presentation of evidence in court proceedings. Provide litigation support at evidentiary hearings and trials. Assist in imaging and OCRing of paper documents. Review and analyze discovery and other case documentation. Identify, locate and gather records. Obtain and verify documents and evidence. Qualifications: Must have an associate's or bachelor's degree OR Paralegal Certificate (Preferred). Must have 4+ years defense litigation paralegal experience. Must have: Knowledge and experience with trial programs, i.e. Trial Pad and Trial Director. Knowledge and experience with virtual meeting platforms, I.e. Zoom, Teams, Skype. Must be: Proactive self-starter with initiative and analytical skills who will seek out opportunities to partner with associates, of counsel, and partners. Inquisitive learner who enjoys taking on new challenges. Team player who has trial and evidentiary hearing experience. Experience and knowledge of local, state, and federal rules. Experience and knowledge of calendaring deadlines based on local, state, and federal rules. Experience with preparing records, assembling exhibits, pleadings, summarizing transcripts, medical record analysis, discovery, and trial preparation. Experience with drafting billing entries and surpassing billable hour requirements. Experience drafting and responding to standard discovery demands (interrogatories, requests to produce documents, etc.). Strong computer skills: proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically, Power Point, Sharepoint, Excel, and Teams. Strong knowledge in document management systems, ability to quickly learn proprietary software systems and databases. Professional, clear and effective communication both written and verbal a must. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be able to multitask and successfully manage a variety of demands. Team player and ability to integrate quickly into a fast-paced environment.
