Immigration Paralegal The candidate will join law firm that handles immigration and personal injury matters. Prepare affirmative applications before USCIS (I-130, I-485, I-765, U-Visas,I-589s, & I-601As). Prepare defensive applications before EOIR (I-589s, EOIR 42Bs, I-212 waivers, I-485). Prepare EOIR Motions (Motions to: Continue, Advance, Withdraw, & Bond). Prepare Cover-letters & RFE Replies to USCIS. Manage assigned personal office Calendar to ensure compliance with EOIR/USCIS deadlines. Coordinate with Clients to obtain documentary evidence (including taking declarations). Translation of documents from Spanish into English is needed. should have ability to show empathy towards Clients of all backgrounds. Must have ability to work with a team of paralegals, legal assistants, and other staff to accomplish tasks.
