Legal Secretary Duties: Draft pleading/discovery documents. Schedules court depositions, hearings, and other meetings. File, organize, scan, copy and fax legal documents. Makes travel arrangements for attorneys. Process third party and vendor invoices. Transcribe and proofread legal documents. Qualifications: California Notary is a plus. 10+ years of experience. Proficient with TOCs/TOAs. Familiar with legal calendaring and legal document systems. Knowledgeable of state and federal e-filing and court filing procedures (CM/ECF experience needed). Able to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Courteous and professional demeanor. Minimal Dictation.
