Legal Secretary / Assistant The candidate responsibilities include: Docketing (calendaring) tasks, meetings, deadlines and court hearings, scanning incoming mail, answering phones, speaking with various court clerks. Heavy dictation or transcription. Contact with clients during the preparation and filing of their cases. Preparation of legal documents, correspondence, as well as other general office and secretarial tasks. E-Filing and E-Recording. Should have 1+ year of legal experience in civil litigation, real estate, and bankruptcy. Willing to train the right candidate. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Word, and have strong typing skills, minimum of 60 words per minute. Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
