Project Coordinator, Paralegal The candidate will be responsible to examine, organize, analyze and communicate information relating to particular questions and organizes its communication into a logical and usable work product for the attorneys in the practice group supporting designated clients. Investigate factual issues by using a variety of sources including local libraries, websites, client repositories and other outside sources. Maintain client, matter or practice group specific libraries in electronic format and/or hard copy. Communicate results of all projects in effectively written memos, emails or in logical format. Maintain all the administrative standards set by the firm including the preparation and submittal of daily time entries, attendance at administrative meetings, legal keying of all client relevant/firm information and other administrative tasks as assigned. Coordinate with vendors for outside services if necessary following the firms procurement policies. Ability to meet all responsibilities of a paralegal experienced in the specific practice area supported by this position to include providing support for or manage general administrative work and coordination of meetings. The candidate must have native proficiency in both Korean and English and ability to translate Koren-English and English-Korean as needed. College degree is preferred plus 3 years or more of relevant paralegal experience in the legal industry and/or specialized educational training to support the assigned practice is required. In lieu of a college degree, a high school diploma plus a minimum of 4 years of law-related experience under the supervision of a licensed lawyer is critical. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is necessary. Ability to anticipate, plan and prioritize work; manage competing demands to meet deadlines is must. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed. Ability to meet obligations with confidentiality, integrity, and sensitivity is required. High attention to detail and the ability to follow up on assignments with little or no guidance from leadership is necessary. Critical thinking skills sufficient to make independent decisions regarding daily work tasks are must. Ability to follow detailed instructions is essential. Ability to bring problems, concerns or discrepancies to the attention of the supervising lawyer is required. Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and the use of Excel is critical. Must be current in practice area industry trends and in the legal profession.
