Immigration Paralegal The candidate will collect information and documentation from clients. Will prepare draft filings to relevant immigration offices. Conduct research on immigration law and procedures. Prepare draft correspondence and memoranda. Enter case information into web-based case management system. Track the status of filings and inform the client of any follow up that may be necessary. Maintain confidentiality of client information. Stay current with all immigration laws and regulations. Complete EEOC, DOL, USCIS responses and filings as necessary.
The candidate should preferably have BS/BA degree or equivalent experience. Paralegal certificate is a plus. Must have 2+ years of immigration paralegal experience preparing non-immigrant (e.g., H-1B, L-1, E-2) and immigrant (PERM and Employment-based immigrant petitions and green card applications. Strong skills in working on multiple projects required. Experience in family-based petitions is desired. Bilingual skills (English, Spanish) are an asset.
