Assessment Recovery Manager Paralegal The candidate is responsible for servicing a portfolio of accounts for HOA and Condominium clients regarding unpaid assessments or dues. Processing of assessment debt collection and foreclosure-related correspondence to delinquent accounts in the ARM's portfolio, such correspondence includes correspondence in compliance with Federal and State Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and State Statutes regarding the collection and foreclosures secured by a continuing lien on real property. Assisting supervising attorneys with the processing, review, and filing of liens, deeds, and legal proceedings related to the collection and foreclosure of unpaid assessments. Corresponding with clients, clients managing agents, and the debtors regarding the debt, disputes of the same, and resolution or settlement of the debt. Invoicing of all collection and foreclosure actions, as well as the timely processing of all debtor payments. Supervising attorneys with the research and review of facts and disputes concerning the delinquent accounts. High school or equivalent is preferred. Should have 2-3 years of experience in debt collection work, familiarity with the Federal Debt Collection Practices Act, and be a licensed paralegal. Law Firm experience is preferred. Should preferably have 1+ year is Microsoft Office. Must be proficient in speaking, reading and understanding Spanish.
