Attorney - Residential Real Estate Compliance The candidate will complete a thorough review of each Closing File to ensure the File is Balanced in the Software's accounting system. Review Invoices (payoffs, liens, judgments, taxes), Title Opinions, Closing Statements, Deposits, Wire Instructions, Recordables, Title Updates, and any other title clearing items. Review all legal documents prior to recordation to ensure all necessary aspects have been completed properly. Review the Closing Statement to confirm all figures are accurate and match with Software's accounting system. Sign Checks and Release Wires. Must have JD from accredited Law School. North Carolina bar license required. Should preferably have 1+ years of real estate law experience. Must have superior communication skills-written and verbal. Must have an understanding of purchase money transactions and the over all aspects of the closing process. Must possess a strong ability to develop and deepen relationships with clients and customers in the local market. Deadline: November 13.
