Estate Administration (Probate) Paralegal Responsibilities: Communicating with clients. Maintenance and management of department calendar. Scheduling of client meetings and court-document signings. Organizing large amounts of financial information and client-provided records. Obtaining information from financial institutions. Composing, editing, and sending correspondence, including letters and emails, to clients, beneficiaries, interested parties, Registries of Deeds, and Secretary of State's Office. Transcribing dictation, taking notes for client meetings, and typing handwritten documents. Managing and organizing of documents, including scanning and saving to case-management software and electronic file. Scanning, copying, saving, uploading documents to client portal, preparing documents for mailing, and drafting letters to clients to obtain information or provide updates. Performing other duties as requested or assigned. Qualifications: Should have 5 years of direct experience. Excellent customer service skills. Good listening skills, high levels of customer service, and the ability to be extra support are critical. Superior attention to detail. Highly communicative and collaborative. Proficiency in MS Office and usage of app technology is a must.
