Public Finance Paralegal Responsibilities: Drafting and editing lengthy and highly-complex documents in Microsoft Word; organizing transcripts; filing IRS, UCC and Division of Bond Finance forms; assisting with RFPs; recording documents in various counties; preparation for bond closings; coordinating post-closing process; copying, faxing and communicating with clients through telephone and e-mail; coordinating and scheduling closings; and other duties as needed. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience and a four-year degree preferred; strong word processing skills with advanced knowledge in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel; solid aptitude for numbers; ability to work independently or in a team-environment; excellent proof-reading and editing skills; effective and personable communication skills; meticulous attention to detail; ability to prioritize and multi-task; and flexibility for overtime. Candidates with public finance, real estate or other types of transactional law experience will be given preference.
