Personal Injury Paralegal The candidate's responsibilities include: New file set up and intake; Communicate with courts, clients, insurance representatives, medical providers, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses; Client case file organization and management; Phone management; Property Damage; Subrogation compliance; Online research on parties to claims backgrounds; Coordinating medical record retrieval and chronicling/summarizing medical records; Managing case expenses; Draft correspondence and demand letters;; Drafting and E-Filing Discovery & Pleadings; Scheduling, setting, calendaring, and coordinating logistics for deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations and trials; Legal research and mediation/trial support; Settlement facilitation including medical bill negotiation/reduction and calculating and drafting settlement memoranda. Good grammar is a must; proficiency in Spanish is preferred. Preferred Competencies: Needles Case Management, Dropbox/Box, Zoom, Texas EFile, Microsoft Office Suite, Foxit PDF, Texas Notary Public, Substantial knowledge of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, Excellent written and verbal skills, Attention to detail, HelloSign/DocuSign. 2 years of Plaintiff PI experience required to apply. Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred.
