Legal Secretary The candidate will directly support litigation attorneys. Create, edit and proofread legal documents, spreadsheets, and other materials. Copy, print and assemble same; Prepare documents for court filings, both in hard copy and electronic, including creating TOCs and TOAs both manually and electronically; Manage incoming mail and answering multi-line telephones; Enter attorney's time and expenses; Make, manage, and coordinate domestic and international travel; Make, manage, and coordinate conference room set ups, conference calls, catering, equipment, and all arrangements needed for internal and external meetings; Review and edit pro formas and prepare client bills; Assist with the preparation of all materials for arbitrations, hearings, trials, and the like. Attend as an on-site assistant when needed; Maintain client listing, contacts lists, and a filing system both in hard and soft copy; Perform other typical legal secretary tasks as assigned. Prior legal secretary, or comparable experience, required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to type 50 wpm required. Knowledge of Elite and document management systems are a plus. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
