Paralegal/Legal Assistant Responsibilities: Client communication, telephone and e?mail, relationship cultivation, and service. Preparation and draft of trust and estate documents and correspondence. Proofread and organization of documents for presentation or delivery to clients. Maintain attorney calendars and Schedule client meetings. Administrative tasks (scanning files, making copies, e?mail communication, and answering phones). Tracking and assisting with deadlines. Assisting with the drafting of more sophisticated estate planning documents, deeds, powers of attorney and other related documents. Assisting with Probate filings and preparation and service of notices and pleadings. Assisting with Trust and Estate administration after the death of a party.
Qualifications: Experience working in an Estate Planning/Trust Administration/Probate law firm is a significant plus. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Excellent proofreading skills. Exceptional organizational and file management skills. Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and WordPerfect and/or Word. Strong willingness to learn and the ability to interpret and follow instructions quickly and efficiently.
