Legal Secretary The candidate will provide support to Corporate and Transactional lawyers and provide administrative support to as many as four or five lawyers in a highly collaborative working environment. Will be responsible for legal secretarial and administrative tasks including, but not limited to, document creation, editing and preparation, filing, time entry, expense reimbursement processing, client bills, telephone calls, travel arrangements, calendar maintenance and mailing distributions. Handle confidential information as necessary. Maintain lawyers' contacts lists in Outlook and Interaction. Client contact in person and over the phone. These duties may be ongoing or ad hoc in nature. Other duties may be assigned to fully meet the requirements of the position. Should have 5+ years of recent legal secretarial experience in a mid-to large-size firm.College degree is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skill is essential. Should have advanced knowledge of MS Word and Outlook, must exhibit strong typing skills and ability to learn and quickly become proficient in new computer software programs. Knowledge of Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.
