Insurance Defense Paralegal The candidate should have 3 years working in an insurance defense law firm. Must be highly organized with strong research and writing skills and fully computer literate. Must be able to work independently and comply with all law firm policies and procedures. Managing files for litigation matters. Intake and organization of voluminous production documents received from clients and opposing parties. Preparing pleadings, discovery demands, discovery responses and other litigation documents at the request of the attorney. Preparation of materials for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials to assist attorneys. Ability to prioritize work load based on deadlines. Communicate with attorneys to assist in all aspect of litigation. Ability to meet billing requirements. should have experience handling both liability and damages issues. Excellent communication skills are needed. Knowledge of ProLaw a plus. should have advanced knowledge and successful experience in managing a full case load from inception to post-trial A college degree and/or Paralegal Certification is required.
