Associate Real Estate Attorney Responsibilities: Oversee all residential and commercial real estate transactions in the office, including residential and commercial sales and refinances. Review titles and complete necessary title curative work. Travel to different closing locations in the Greater Atlanta Area. Occasionally work outside of customary business hours. Work with lenders, brokers, agents, buyers and sellers to facilitate real estate transactions. Draft and/or review loan documents including contracts, deeds, leases, and purchase and sale agreements. Deliver a professional and engaging experience to clients and address any lingering questions or concerns they may have. Review disbursement ledger and sign checks. Develop, cultivate and grow business relationships for the firm.
Qualifications: Member of the state Bar of Georgia with 1-3 years' experience. A self-starter, maintain a professional appearance, along with strong written and verbal communication skills, and must be willing to assist in growing the firm's presence as a top-performing firm. Quick thinking problem solver. Proven professionalism, ethics and character. Proven client service and relationship-building skills. A working knowledge of state title standards is preferred. Must have confidence and genuine enthusiasm for helping clients achieve their goals in the area of real estate and home finance. Analytical skills and the ability to explain numerical concepts are necessary.
