Personal Injury Paralegal / Legal Assistant The candidate should preferably have 3+ years of experience in a plaintiff's PI setting. Should be experienced in all of the following: management of a significant volume of pre-litigation personal injury files; interviewing and screening prospective clients; meeting with new clients/client intake completion; opening files and drafting all necessary letters; communicating with clients regarding ongoing medical care and client needs; ordering and organizing all relevant medical records; creating medical record summaries/chronologies; preparing settlement demand packages; and negotiating resolution of liens (medical, subrogation, etc.).
