Paralegal Estate Planning Probate/Estate Administration The candidate must efficiently draft letters, legal documents, and client correspondence. Must be able to efficiently coordinate meetings and client appointments. Excellent time management, organizational abilities, attention to detail, and strong proofreading skills are required. Must be able to open, organize, and maintain client estate administration files while managing and meeting numerous deadlines for attorneys, clients, court, creditor periods, accountings, estate taxes, and fiduciary taxes. Must be driven, positive, and able to work in a team environment consistently & effectively, as well as independently. Prefer a paralegal with 2+ years of experience in estate administration. General business law, probate, wills, and trusts paralegal experience is also preferred. College degree required; paralegal certification not required; must be NC notary or eligible to be NC notary. Candidate requirements include professionalism, confidentiality, excellent client communications, and service, as well as excellent skills to support attorneys and other team members. Must be able to account for and input all billable time into the timekeeping system for billings. Must have a high level of computer proficiency including MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and general online research skills. Must be great with numbers to prepare accurate and detailed probate inventories and estate accounts for court.
