Paralegal The candidate will maintain an orderly work flow in area of responsibility. Set priorities to accomplish the attorney(s) work. Keep records for client billing by recording time daily. Litigation support activities including, but not limited to, database management and electronic filing. Summarize materials by preparing deposition outlines, highlighting issues and compiling all relevant information. Facilitate comprehensive information flow by drafting documents including correspondence, legal memoranda and pleadings. Establish clear case organization by administering and maintaining case materials. Perform special tasks as needed which may include learning new functions on the computer or specific applications such as litigation management software, databases. Bachelor's degree and paralegal certificate preferred. Musty have 3 years+ prior litigation experience. Must be familiar with all New York and Federal court rules and procedures. Should have previous experience with Relativity or other similar e-discovery review platforms. Must have previous experience with managing productions of electronically stored information. Previous matrimonial experience, a plus. Must have familiarity with drafting and responding to discovery requests. Should have familiarity with drafting subpoenas, pro hac and other types of motions. Familiarity with Trial Director and other types of trial technology are needed. Should be familiar with Excel, Word and Outlook.
