Plaintiff Personal Injury Paralegal The candidate will perform the following duties: serve in chronological medical record reviews, serve in chronological medical billing reviews; write settlement demands, interrogatories / request for production; case management with a full case-load; managing and negotiating subrogation and liens; E-filing with State and Federal Courts; conduct lexis research. Client relations and communication; being pleasant to co-workers and clients. Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents. Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes. Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Record and store client information; calendaring legal proceedings on practice master. The candidate should have completed Paralegal studies and/or certification or extensive experience in personal injury litigation. Experience in writing settlement demands (provide examples of work product) essential. Experience in medical record procurement needed. Experience in medical record and medical billing reviews / chronologies (provide examples of work product) essential. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills (provide examples of work product). Should have computer background and asset research of clients, Defendants and businesses. Experience in legal research with Lexis essential. Must have experience in new client intakes.
