Legal Secretary - Insurance Defense The candidate will provide administrative support for 3 attorneys. Open and close files and all associated tasks. Maintain attorney calendars. Transcribe, type, copy, fax, email documents and correspondence. Format, proofread, and send client reports. Physical and electronic filing on Worldox. Schedule depositions and mediations. Use strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate with attorneys, colleagues, and clients. Prioritize, organize, and manage heavy workload with deadlines. The candidate should have 3 years of law firm experience. Insurance defense and workers comp knowledge is a definite plus. Word, Outlook, and Excel required. Worldox, Coyote billing required. Knowledge of legal practices, terminology, documents, and court procedures required. Accuracy and proficiency required.
