Intellectual Property Trademark/Litigation Attorney The candidate will have a functional mix of trademark and litigation work within a sophisticated IP practice. Including clearance and prosecution matters, documents related to the US and foreign trademark prosecution, opinions (fair use, infringement, validity) and due diligence. Should have Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school with strong academics. Member in good standing of the state bar association in the state where practicing, and eligible for admission to the Texas bar is required. USPTO Registration is a plus. Must have 2-3 years of relevant experience. Experience with the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy, IP transactions, as well as handling copyright-related issues and registration is strongly preferred. Must have well-developed skills in the US and international trademark clearance, counseling, prosecution, and enforcement. Excellent writing/drafting, communication, and organizational skills are needed. The ability to manage multiple projects efficiently is a prerequisite.
