This mid size Orlando office maintains a full service civil law practice. The is organized into the following areas: litigation, health law, communications and media, employment and labor, tax, personal planning and employee benefits, securities and public offering, real estate, and business and corporate office. Legal Secretary - Trust And Estate Planning The candidate will be performing overall legal secretarial and general administrative tasks to support and help the attorneys manage their cases. Will provide superior client service, draft, type and proofread legal documents and correspondence of a legal nature, specific to the practice area of the attorneys, coordinate signing of legal documents with clients. File all necessary documents with courts (e-filing). Make travel arrangements, answer telephone, read and route incoming mail, maintain calendars and contact lists, schedule appointments and manage attorneys calendars, reserve conference rooms, maintain filing and process new business intake and expense forms. Enter and proofread and edit attorneys' time entries in time capture system (DTE) and on proforma bills. Must have High School diploma or general education degree (GED); and 1 - 3 years of related estate planning experience. Solid knowledge and understanding of estate planning and ability to prepare basic estate planning documents. Experience with e-filing. Software knowledge must include MS Office suite, Net Docs or other document management systems, and Intapp or other time entry systems. Must possess strong organizational and communication skills. Must possess strong attention to detail, ability to balance multiple projects and have strong time management skills. Proficiency in grammar, proofreading, and transcription. Ability to provide a high level of customer service and be able to clearly and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
