Associate Attorney, Litigation Duties: Responsible for personal injury litigation files including car accidents, trucking accidents, slip and falls and other civil litigation matters. Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, memoranda/briefs, attending depositions and mediations. Managing a docket of cases, preforming case analysis & creating an effective case strategy, performing independent legal research on cases and attending hearings and other court appearances while communicating with client during entire litigation process. Will also assist in managing the pre-litigation files that will eventually end up in litigation. Qualifications: Licensed to practice in Texas; 2+ years Litigation experience is required. Trial experience a plus. Ability to discuss all parts of litigation process to client. Bilingual a plus. Well Informed with TRCP and litigation process. Dependable, punctual and pleasant to work with. Attention to detail and highly organized while prioritizing assignments and tasks. Demonstrate excellent research, verbal communication, and written skills. Willingness to work and manage docket of 30+ litigation files.
