Complex Litigation / Bankruptcy Paralegal Duties: Work closely with the firm's litigators and bankruptcy lawyers on a broad range of complex commercial and business litigation matters and bankruptcy cases. Filings using the Connecticut Judicial Branch filing system and CMECF; preparation of pleadings and case-specific matters; client relations; drafting of pleadings and other documents. Qualifications: Four-year college degree preferred. 3+ years in litigation and/or bankruptcy. Should be self-motivated and able to function in a high-pressure and demanding environment. Preferred Qualifications: Must be familiar with, and able to use, Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel in particular), state and federal filings systems, and, preferably, Best Case (bankruptcy software).
