Patent Attorney The candidate will serve in the preparation and prosecution of U.S. patent applications and corresponding with foreign associates to guide the prosecution of foreign applications for complex and highly valued patent portfolios, while also supporting practice needs in other related areas (e.g., patentability, infringement, validity, and freedom to operate opinions and related analysis; portfolio strategy and management; due diligence). The candidate should have a biology, biochemistry, chemistry or molecular biology graduate degree for an established and well-respected patent practice. Must have MS in a biology, chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology or chemical engineering, with a preference for a Ph.D.; must have strong organic chemistry expertise. Should have USPTO Bar admission. Must have 3+ years of full time claim drafting and patent prosecution experience with a reputable law firm. Strong academic credentials required.
