Part-time Administrative Assistant / Paralegal The candidate will provide administrative support to the firm and also perform some light paralegal work. Will gain hands on experience dealing with tenants and various housing issues, which requires heavy contact with tenants and clients. Help the firm transition to a new practice management software platform which will include scanning in/uploading documents, data entry, and other administrative work. Scan/upload documents into new practice management software. Manual data entry to create new matters and update client matters. Conduct research to support legal proceedings. Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents. Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes. Record and store client information. Filing motions and other documents with various courts. Must be in law school. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Bilingual, Spanish speaker preferred.
