Personal Injury Paralegal The candidate should be familiar with the Code of Civil Procedure, Rules of Court, statutes, deadlines, local court rules, and in particular the rules and procedures for the Personal Injury Courts in the County of Los Angeles and surrounding areas. Job duties include drafting and responding to written discovery, drafting pleadings, preparing court forms and filings, writing correspondence, answering telephones and scheduling attorney's calendar. Candidates must have good communication and organizational skills. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred. Should have 5+ years of strong litigation experience. Exceptional litigation skills with strong knowledge of State Court rules, Excellent working knowledge of legal documents. Strong written and verbal communication skills in order to communicate effectively with clients. Experience with e-Filing, Ability to integrate into a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel). Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in personal injury litigation work in California. The candidate should have a bachelor's degree and/or a paralegal certificate. Experience in the PI Hub in Los Angeles Courts is desirable. Spanish speaker is a plus.
