Bankruptcy Associate Attorney The candidate will be in charge of representing a secured creditor with a large docket of bankruptcy cases. Will review all new bankruptcy filings. Monitor active caseload. Determine appropriate legal response (i.e., objection to confirmation of plan, motion to lift stay, etc.). Attend hearings personally or coordinate local counsel appearances. Ensure bankruptcy accounts move toward resolution. The candidate should have a J.D. degree from accredited law school with an active license to practice law in Texas. Should preferably have 2+ years of experience as a bankruptcy attorney. Candidate with significant experience handling bankruptcy cases, may be consider that if having less than 2 years experience. Should have experience managing a statewide docket of bankruptcy cases. Experience with ad valorem tax liens and judicial foreclosure is a plus. Admittance to at least one United States District Court in Texas is required.
