Legal Assistant/Paralegal Responsibilities: Provide support for 2-3 attorneys. Prepare draft letters. Proofread, finalize, and follow up on letters for attorneys. Schedule conference calls and meetings; calendaring. Project tracking and communications with handling attorney and client. Send documents for recording with the recorder's office and filing with the secretary of state - monitor receipt of same. Review document management system, files/emails for handling attorneys. Assist with internal special projects. Perform all other requested office tasks.
Qualifications: Paralegal certificate, or a bachelor's degree preferred. Should have 5 years of experience as a litigation legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional demeanor. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and is a quick learner with computer programs.
