Trademark Paralegal Duties: Manage trademark docket - US and foreign. Conduct trademark searches. Prepare and file trademark applications, office action responses and maintenance documents. Communicate with foreign associates regarding filings, registration, etc. Communicate with attorneys and IP Docket Specialist regarding docket entries and status of the same. Extensive client contact. Other duties as requested by attorneys.
Qualifications: Paralegal Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred. 3 years of trademark experience. Patent prosecution experience, a plus. Comprehensive knowledge of the Intellectual Property practice area. Ability to effectively set priorities, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects for several attorneys. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel and Outlook). Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
